Each and every time he sets foot in the ring, he commands intrigue. Whether it’s the KWPN Stallion Show or the WC for Young Dressage Horses, Las Vegas leaves a lasting impression. Previously ridden by Franka Loos, the bay already celebrated many successes. They won the Stallion Competition at the KWPN Stallion Show, the Pavo Cup for five-year-olds and placed fifth at the WC for Young Dressage Horses. Emmelie Scholtens has taken over the reins and campaigned him at this year’s WC for Young Dressage Horses. They came very close to a victory in the qualification and headed for the final with a second position and 10 for the canter. In the thrilling conclusion he bested his rank of last year and placed fourth. Las Vegas is not only impressive in every way, including his solid pedigree. He is sired by Ferdeaux, the Bordeaux-son that is successful at Small Tour-level. Dam Jo-Novorette is no one else than the half-sister of the mare that’s right at the basis of Don Juan De Hus. This fact immediately makes this swinging Swingvorette a very interesting foal! Don Juan de Hus ranked sixth at the WC for Young Dressage Horses as a five-year-old and sired the world champion Don Martillo and two-time world champion D’Avie. The preliminary keur mare Jo-Novorette is a daughter of Apache, the incredible stallion that was successful at the highest level himself and has proven to pass his qualities on to his offspring, one of his representatives being Indian Rock. The pedigree subsequently reveals the Damiro-mare Novorette, the granddam of Don Juan de Hus, and the thoroughbred stallion Troublemaker xx. This dam line also produced the Grand Prix horse Domino (s.Spielberg), Inter I horse Wubels (s.Rubels), the Inter II horse Obelisk (s.Karandasj) and NRPS-approved stallion Gladiator (s.Glamourdale).
